Meet Your Friendly Rep
Hi there, I'm Diana (my friends call me Dee!).
I grew up in the South Island, New Zealand, and have always enjoyed all aspects of rural country life. I love animals, sports, being creative and getting out hiking and camping in nature.
After starting out in a marketing career working in website design, copywriting and graphics, I then changed tack and took to working professionally with horses full-time.
From establishing one of the country's largest Warmblood sport horse studs (Astek Stud) with my parents in Burnham, Canterbury, to later creating a popular horse training and coaching facility in the Waikato (Chester Farm) where I used to host multi-day clinics and camps for riders of all ages, these years of experience saw me in my element - working outdoors with animals and helping people, while utilising my marketing skills to promote each business.
I continued to dabble in writing, design and marketing alongside, becoming the sole independent national rep for two new-to-market, locally made products that hugely assisted me with my own farm management (the Paddock Groomer, and the Smokey Goat Topper - since sold to another company). This personal use made it easy to promote and highlight the benefits of these products to others. I thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the early development and launch of these new products and valued the relationships that developed with each manufacturer - we are still good friends to this day!
I stumbled upon Future Post at the national Fieldays event in Mystery Creek while looking for a change of direction. Talking casually to others about this exciting new recycling innovation that I had seen soon led to a job opportunity within the company as I began to raise awareness of what they were doing and incidentally sell recycled posts products for them!
By dealing with me, you are in effect dealing directly with each manufacturer that I represent. I can provide personalised details, service, recommendations and customised factory direct pricing without it costing you anything extra!
I'm proud to represent unique and innovative New Zealand made products that are manufactured by locals, for locals, and have often come about through the spark of an idea to help solve a problem. I also enjoy getting to know my clients and assisting you with the best outcome for your lifestyle or property project.
Now based on a lifestyle block in North Canterbury, I have examples of each product I represent on site. Enquires are welcome and viewing available by appointment.
